Jecheon City is located in the northern region of Chungcheongbukdo, somewhere between Charyong Mountains and Sobaek Mountains. It borders Munkyeong City to the south, and Wonju City and Youngwol-gun to the north. It is wellknown for its beautiful environment created by the harmony of Mt. Woraksan National Park and Cheongpung Lake. It is also proud of easily accessible, convenient transportation. It is a city of culture and tourism.
