Seokjoyeoraeipsang

This Buddha was moved to this place instead of Cheongpoong-myeon Eup-li Daegwangsa because Chungju dam was built and this Budhha could be submerged. Whole style looks like sculpture of 10th century.

On the head, topknot is there and this topkont is very small. The face which looks rectangle is really virtuous. Eyes look sharp but thick and nose is wide and flat. A distinct philtrum is really merciful.

Two ears are very long down to the shoulder and drooping. On the neck, 3 wrinkles are expressed. Two shoulders are covered with clothes, wrinkles of these clothes look thick and you cannot see the body-line of this Buddha. At the waist, the knot is tied to the skirt.

Winkles which look like 'U' are flowing down naturally. Right hand is held and Buddha bends his finger and the left hand is hanging. Daejwa is octangle Yeonwhajwa and at each side, lotus is carved. This Buddha shows power of United Silla because of confident shoulder and cubic effect of expression, but if you see the winkles on the neck or nonobjective hand, the body like a monster and you can tell that this looks like Goryeo's sculpture.
